TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Within these terms and conditions, the word ‘items’ represents any goods that are intended or included in a Clear Out the Clutter eBay transaction.

For this document and on the website www.clearouttheclutter.co.uk “Us, we, our and Clear Out the Clutter” refers to Clear Out The Clutter.

If you agree and appoint Clear Out the Clutter to sell your items verbally or in writing, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. All items are accepted subject to Clear Out the Clutter terms and conditions.

2. Clear Out The Clutter shall be under no liability for loss/damage to items however caused, either to property or persons in the removal of items being auctioned or removed before, after or during the auction.

3. Clear Out The Clutter acts solely as an agent between the client and the eBay buyer. In the event of any dispute or refusal to pay or non-payment on the part of the eBay buyer, Clear Out the Clutter may annul and cancel the sale of such items. These items may be relisted on eBay at the discretion of Clear Out The Clutter

4. If a client wishes to cancel a sale, Clear Out The Clutter will charge £4 per item as a contribution towards handling fees, photography, writing of copy plus the cost of listing the item. If the item is already on eBay and has already received a bid a sale cannot be cancelled as Clear Out The Clutter are obliged under Ebay Terms and Conditions, to sell this item to the buyer.

5. No refund will be given on items collected from the client or Clear Out The Clutter as the eBay buyer is responsible for inspection and acceptance of the item before removal. 

6. All items must be genuine, no fakes or replicas.

7. Any items given to Clear Out The Clutter for sale, the client must be the owner of the item or must have the owner's authority to sell the Item.

8. All clothes must be cleaned, ironed and ready to wear and in either new or immaculate condition. If Clear Out The Clutter deems that the clothes are not of an acceptable condition they have the right to refuse to sell the item.

9. If an item fails to sell it will be re-listed once. The starting price can be changed with the agreement of the client. If it doesn’t sell after the second time on sale, the client will be charged £4 per item. Once notified of the unsold items any items not collected by the client within three weeks will be automatically be donated to charity.  

10. Clear Out The Clutter reserves the right to change any part of this agreement. We advise users to check this agreement regularly. We have the discretion to amend without any prior notification or remove any parts without warning or liability arising from such action.

11. By agreeing to let Clear Out The Clutter sell items on your behalf you are legally bound by these terms & conditions.

PRIVACY POLICY

Clear Out The Clutter are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our clients and customers. This is how we will treat your personal information

1. We do not share your details with any 3rd party; this includes email addresses, telephone numbers and home addresses unless of course for the collection of goods for purchases made via eBay where contact details may need to be given to the buyer.  

2. Bank details that are kept on file are never shared with a 3rd party.

3. Any client bank details will only be kept on file for two years after the last transaction with the client.  After that period the bank details will be automatically delete
